Back for a While

I don't know where the time has gone. I was kind of wishing the summer away because my husband and I are traveling to Italy in September. It will be our 33rd wedding anniversary. Anyhow, I need to insert some more pictures of my altered art.

Gone for the weekend!

My husband and I traveled to West Virginia to visit my brother. I finished a heritage album of 60 12 x 12 pages and presented him with copies of each page so he would have an album too. The most fulfilling project that I have ever done. Shed some tears over some of those pages, too. But, now I am back and I am going to give you another picture from my altered book.

Altered Art

I have discovered altered art. I've been ooing and awing at everyone else's blogs with the must beautiful pictures. Finally, I am doing an altered book for my sister in law for her birthday.

Breaths of July

Cross stitch is my favorite past time. I haven't picked up a needle in so long. I sometimes feel like I am crafted out. I went to a garage sale on sunday, after church, and it was bag day and you could put anything in the bag for $1.00. I got lots of yarn and many, many knitting needles. Do I know how to knit? No. But I will learn. There were some bits and pieces of items that were started, so I will treasure these. Someone put their love and handiwork and time into these treasures.
